Artist's Description
This is a three-dimensional piece of "Junk Art" that touches base on the destructive nature of man in hopes of stirring emotions to stop this trend. The right wing shows an untouched rainforest with a sunset in the top corner. The middle panel has a mirror to reflect mankind's emergance on this world. The left wing shows a logger cutting down a tree in a forest that is undergoing deforestation with an angry sky in the corner above the wing. Together this triptych depicts an owl with his wings outstreched to represent wisdom in revealing and inspiring others to change this horrible fate of the rainforrests and forrests all over the world. So give a hoot about deforestation and see if you can lend a hand in stopping it through donating to people like the Wildlife Land Trust or thousands of other environmental groups.
**Please note that the size listed is not the size of the actual artwork, but rather the size the the image uploaded of the piece.
